Dan Sloutskovski (born Danila Ivanov), prizewinner of many international music competitions,
was born in Moscow, Russia within a musicians' family. Music has formed an integral part of his life
since his early childhood.
He began his studies at the Music school of the Moscow Conservatory. When he turned nine,
he already started performing on stage as soloist and he recorded for the first time on the Moscow Radio.
At the age of 11 he performed as soloist in several concerts around Russia.
Dan was often invited on the Russian TV for the classical music streaming together with the great
musicians such as Igor Oistrakh, Natalia Shakhovskaia and Vadim Rudenko.
At 13, he was invited to perform at the festival "Los Genios del Siglo 21" in Buenos Aires,
where he played at legendary Teatro Colon with Teatro Colon Orchestra.
In the same year, he toured Switzerland with the "Kremlin" Orchestra, conducted by
Micha Rachlevsky. One year later, he played with the Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne.
After obtaining a scholarship from the "Académie de Villecroze", he was invited by the
University of Music of Geneva to continue his musical studies
as a student of Daniel Grosgurin.
Dan completed his Master's degree with a first prize with distinction with three special prizes and
was invited afterwards to play at the "Gstaad Menuhin Festival", the "Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad"
and with the "Orchestre de la Suisse Romande" conducted by V.Sinaisky.
He also studied in the Menuhin Academy in Blonay as a student of Stanimir Todorov.
He had a chance to participate in master classes given by legendary teachers as M.Rostropovich,
A.Noras, F.Helmerson, L.Harell, B.Pergamenschikow, N.Gutman, D.Geringasand and N.Shakhovskaia.
Dan regularly performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe.
In October 2018 he was honored to perform the exceptional concert "Martha Argerich and Friends"
at Prinzregententheater in Munich.
